Pushkar Lake

At the center of the town lies the sacred Pushkar Lake, a pilgrimage site of immense religious importance. According to Hindu mythology, the lake was formed when Lord Brahma dropped a lotus flower on the earth. Surrounded by over 50 ghats, the lake is where devotees come to take a holy dip

Brahma Temple

Brahma Temple, one of the very few temples in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator in the Hindu trinity. Built in the 14th century, the temple is constructed from marble and stone slabs, featuring a red spire and an image of a hamsa (swan), the sacred mount of Brahma. Pilgrims from across India come here to seek blessings, especially during the Kartik Purnima festival when Pushkar Lake is believed to be at its most auspicious.

Savitri Temple

Located on a hilltop, the Savitri Temple is dedicated to Goddess Savitri, wife of Lord Brahma. Though the climb involves a steep ascent of about 200 steps, a ropeway is also available for easier access. The peaceful ambiance and stunning sunrise or sunset views make it a favorite among photographers and nature lovers.
